Hold on to your hats because Sol de Janeiro just dropped some serious news! Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71 Body Cream IS FINALLY launching! Yes, finally they are giving us a body cream scented like Cheirosa ’71! I’ve been begging for this for years now and it’s finally happen! I love the warm tropical cake melting in your hand moment of Cheirosa ’62 as much as the rest of the world but I have to admit Cheirosa ’71 definitely holds second place fav in my heart! About two years ago they did a limited-edition hand cream and I sob myself to sleep at night wishing they’d bring it back! Shhh..! I was using it as a body cream on my neck and chest!
Sadly, the Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa ’71 Body Cream will be available for a limited time. I HOPE and a prayer that’s just some marketing ploy and they’ll bring it back at some point. It will be available exclusively at soldejaneiro.com on September 25th. They haven’t given us a size nor a price yet but I’m hopeful it’s the larger jar that will be available. And of course, it smells like yummy caramel or at least to my nose it does. It has notes of caramelized vanilla, toasted macademia nut, white chocolate, tonka bean, coconut blossom, and sea salt.
I’m a little meh on the fact the body cream will contain golden shimmer. I could do without the shimmer but hey, if it smell as good as the body and hair mist I’ll try very hard not to complain...
