You can blame Steam Cream for my obsession with moisturizers that come in a tin that’s why these new Sephora Moisturizing Cream and Moisturizing Gel Tins are so damn appealing!
Actually, if I think back on you can probably blame a lot of different Japanese and Korean brands as well since I can think of any number of moisturizers that either came in the cutest little tub or tin ever. The first one that comes to mind would be the long gone but never forgotten Sana Hiaruronsan Moisture Gel. Sigh those were the days. There’s also Mizon No 1 Moist King’s Berry Cream which comes in adorable tin. Why oh why am I obsessed with this silly packaging" It’s utterly unsanitary and won’t keep the ingredients stable but I still buy into them. Sephpora’s are cute as hell not to mention quite cheap at a mere $8 bucks each. They’ll be great for travel as they are only 1.86 oz each.

Sephora Moisturizing Cream comes in two formulas but I suspect they’ll be more if they follow along with the Micellar Cleansing Water and Milk release they did a few months ago. Right now they have a Rose and a Coconut formula. Rose hydrates and brightens while Coconut soothes and relaxes. They market them as having a light, creamy texture that absorbs easily without being sticky.
There’s also Sephora Moisturizing Gel which is available in a green tea formula that acts to mattifying and balance skin without being oily, greasy, or sticky.
