NARS Inferno Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
NARS Inferno Eyeshadow Palette is a new NARSissist Palette ($59) that’s available for a limited time exclusively at Sephora. It happens to be one of the first Holiday palettes I purchased when they started popping late September.
This palette was particularly appealing to me because I loved the glittery red tones! Sadly, it’s completely rubbish and it’s not something you want to spend nearly $60 on.
NARS Inferno NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 eyeshadows and comes in a glittery black compact. Each eyeshadow is 0.05 oz in size. The eyeshadows range in finish with glitter being the dominating the palette and shimmer and mattes coming in after. Three of the five glitters are super chunky pressed glitters. I took the initiative to contact NARS directly to ask if the palette is eye safe due because of the glitter as well as the fact that one shade uses Red 7 which is not approved for eye use by the FDA. I did this because the palette has absolutely no warnings about using the shades including the glitter on your eyes. I contacted them via e-mail and a day later received a reply stating the following: “Thank you for contacting NARS Cosmetics.
All shades in the Inferno Eyeshadow Palette are formulated for use on the eyes.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.”
