As 2016 came to a close, I found myself reflecting on the importance of clean and organic beauty. The bottom line is that it’s crucial to be aware and informed of the ingredients that are penetrating the skin. Just like we all care so much about what we put into our bodies, like buying organic apples and hormone-free whatever, we need to pay the same close attention to our beauty products ? everything from skincare, haircare, makeup and even for the hardcore, perfume. Now I am the first to admit that I love a Tom Ford lipstick, and live for Chanel No. 5, but for the most part I choose organic, and especially when it comes to my skincare. After all, the skin takes up a lot more real estate than my lips!
