Lipstick Queen Famous Last Words Matte Liquid Lipstick ($24) is a new elastic matte lipstick formula created to allow your lips to move and breath during the wear without drying them out. I can’t say I remember Lipstick Queen ever having a liquid lipstick and as a makeup junkie who isn’t quite a fan of long-lasting lipstick I still felt compelled to purchase one as if anyone is going to do a liquid lipstick right I felt for sure it would be Lipstick Queen.
There are definitely makeup hacks to remove liquid lipstick through the day but I actually just prefer regular old lipstick or lipgloss myself. I feel somewhat constrained by wearing lipstick for 8 or more hours straight. Also, I like being able to easily wipe off any lip product I’m wearing and reapply it easily. Liquid lipsticks definitely aren’t as cut and dry as simply wiping them away. Don’t get me wrong, some formulas do impress but in most cases I find them drying and difficult to remove! But let’s see how I feel about Lipstick Queen Famous Last Words Lipstick Lipstick!
