Lake & Skye 11 11 Vanilla Eau de Parfum is a new vanilla, marshmallow fragrance that launched for the Fall 2024 season. Everyone is losing their entire minds over the fact it contains notes of vanilla crème and marshmallow but it likely won’t be the gourmand you think it is. I’ve been doing a lot of research on this fragrance but haven’t yet smelled it in person. Sadly, none of my local stores got it yet and I’m vacation at the moment and likely won’t smell it till I get home. But after all my googling I do know one thing, it’s not a safe blindbuy if you’re a gourmand girlie or guy.

Vanilla is having a huge moment in the world of fragrance and as a lover of the note I’m more than happy about it having the spotlight. Marshmallow is another note that’s been pretty heavily pushed lately and again, I don’t hate that at all. But having the two together" Well, that’s just pure joy for anyone who loves a gourmand fragrance! But in order for that to work you do need the dry down to combine those two notes together and sadly, they are both in the middle of the fragrance with the base being amber, skin musk, and teakwood which means you’re getting more of a woodsy fragrance versus a creamy, fluffy vanilla marshmallow blend.
