L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser, Detox & Brighten ($5.99) is one of three new clay-to-mousse daily cleansers that contain 3 different clays that act to lift away dirt and oil and live duller skin brighter and more even toned.
This formula is actually a retake on the L’Oreal Clay facial masks that launched last year. I got ok with L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask Exfoliate and Refine Pores last year so I decided to check out the Pure Clay Cleanser Collection and see what the deal was.
Here’s my review and thoughts.

I’m terribly surprised to hear all the ravings about L’Oreal Pure Clay Cleanser, Detox & Brighten. Most reviews I’ve read are four to five star ratings but I’m having a hard time trusting these reviews because I had a vastly different experience with this product and didn’t think it was as great as everyone else is saying. This particular formula I tried was formulated for dull skin. It’s supposed to transform from a clay to a mousse texture. Oddly enough it almost feels like they took the L’Oreal Pure-Clay Mask Detox & Brighten Treatment Mask out of the jar and placed it in a tube. Because the consistencies of the two products are fairly similiar. It’s fairly thick in texture but doesn’t quite transform correctly.
