Ok, so I think we established the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale sucked but there are a few gems around. If you’re a fan of luxury scents I would recommend splurging on the Delina Eau de Parfum Set.
This set isn’t cheap at $347 but you’re getting well over $500 worth of fragrance with it. It contains a full-size Delina Ea de Parfume at 2.5 oz and a travel-size one at 1 oz. If I didn’t already own a bottle I’d def buy this!
I’m convinced this is what I thought Turkish Delight tasted and smelled like as a child reading the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. When Edmund first followed Lucy into the wardrobe he became lost and confused and ran into the White Witch. The White Witch offers him anything he wants to eat in exchange for him bringing his siblings to her once they get to Narnia. He asks for Turkish Delight. It’s a treat that symbolizes Edmund’s selfishness in some ways and his ability to want something so badly he was willing to hurt others to get it. It should be a treat one wishes to avoid because of this but I admit as a child I was absolutely curious about what it tasted like. I’m lucky enough that I’m a native New Yorker and actually finding such a treat wasn’t terribly hard. After reading the book I remember asking my mother for it and she instantly knew where to find it.
