I dunno where Carol’s Daughter 4-in-1 Combing Cremes have been all my hair life but thank god they are in my hair life now! This stuff is amazing! And you totally need it if you have soft water in your home or a pool that’s damage your hair.

Ok, so story time. I’m a city girl and I’m used to hard water. It was a total game changer for me when I built a Summer house upstate and was presented with soft water. WTH…! Anyone dealing with soft water daily deserves a major award. It’s rather disgusting. It feels slick and slimy and just weird and wrong. After endless questions to my plumber about the filtering of the water, etc…I finally had to come to terms with the fact that soft water was the way of the world in the country. Yay.

Not only does it have an unusual texture but when you wash your hair, hands, body it always feels like you haven’t rinsed off the soap. It’s just the weirdest session ever. Soft water also seems to really like to play havoc with my hair as well causing dryness, frizz, etc….
This combined with the fact I’m in the pool a good deal over the Summer and my hair is like a bird’s nest after getting home on Sunday night after being upstate for the weekend.
