I’ve Changed My Skincare Routine. Here’s What Made The Cut.
As a beauty editor, it?s my job (and my passion) to test out the plethora of products that cross my desk. From hand masks and tropical hair oils to organic nail polishes and neck creams, the list goes on and on. But while it?s easy to incorporate a new nail polish into my routine, my skincare routine is pretty hard to penetrate.
It takes a real gem to get a spot on my top shelf. Sometimes I’ll get a little too eager and test out a new mask or serum and wake up the next day to find my skin totally out of whack. On the rare occasion that I do test something I really like, I?ll photograph it and move it to my bathroom. It then earns a spot on the lengthy waiting list of products that’ll eventually find their way into my daily regiment. There is one exception, however. When the seasons change and it’s time for me to transition to a new routine, there’s a small window when I’m willing to experiment and re-evaluate. This moment came this morning when I noticed a little dry patch on my forehead — a sign that winter’s in full-swing and it’s time for me to start using heavier products. I thought I would share with you all what I’ll be using until the first signs of spring.

Cleanser
