Hard Candy Sheer Envy Bake, Brighten & Set Loose Finishing Powder Review & Swatches
The best six dollars I ever spent in my life was on Hard Candy Sheer Envy Bake, Brighten & Set Loose Finishing Powder. I had no idea Hard Candy had a banana powder available until recently when I was procrastinating and Hard Candy posted a photo of it on Instagram. I knew Hard Candy was getting into the color correcting trend this season with a host of cream concealers and others dodads but I hadn’t heard about the Sheer Envy Bake, Brighten & Set Loose Finishing Powder.
Now I happen to be a massive fan of Skin Food’s Salmon Dark Circle Powder which is long gone but not forgotten. I’ve found some great replacements for it like Ben Nye’s Banana Powder, Kat Von D’s new Kat Von D Lock-It Brightening Powder, Vincent Longo Banana Powder, and of course, Besame Brightening Vanilla Face Powder. I recently tried Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Powder and was so excited at the prospects of a budget friendly brightening powder but sadly, it was kind of a bust. Needless to say I was a little skeptical about a six dollar brightening powder but I am beyond happy to report this was fabulous.
Hard Candy Sheer Envy Bake, Brighten & Set Loose Finishing Powder is actually a baking powder but I don’t bake so, I just use it to set my concealer and brighten up my eye area. If you’re looking for my thoughts on how well this bakes, well, sadly, I can’t say but I’ll happily share how I felt it set my concealer. I don’t think ...
