Where does begin with the new MAC Mineralize Total Detox Skincare Collection for Spring 2018" Perhaps with Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator which is really where it all started isn’t it" Mineralize Volcanic Ash Exfoliator launched in 2008 for a limited and later in 2012 became a permanent part of their skincare collection. Needless to say it made an impact with a lot of fans of MAC as it was a stellar exfoliating option that left skin smooth and soft.
If anyone is a Lush fan you’ve likely tried Coal Face which I consider the solid version of MAC Volcanic Ash Exfoliator. Later on in life Lush released Dark Angels Cleanser which was a chunkier version of Coal Face. I’ve always felt like these three products gave birth to a whirlwind of drugstore charcoal skincare options later like Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser and Freeman Charcoal & Black Sugar Facial Polishing Mask ( this one being a very cheap, inexpensive dupe of MAC’s formula). I realized I haven’t been following Volcanic Ash Exfoliator. It sort of dropped off my radar only until this repromote I can’t even say I know if it was still part of the permanent line or if MAC is bringing it back in this collection. I do know one thing, this has made me want to revisit it and see if I love it as much as I once did and even give some of the other items in this collection a whirl. The good news is, if you never tried it before now is a good chance to do so!
