ColourPop Take Me Home Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches
I purchased the ColourPop Take Me Home Shadow Palette a few days ago when it popped up on Sephora’s website for $12. I probably don’t need a selection of colors like this because I already have plenty like it already but when it comes to nude shades all logic flies out the window.
Let’s take a look!
The palette contains six Colourpop Pressed Powder Eyeshadows in a variety of finishes including matte, metallic, and shimmer. It’s a good deal smaller than Colourpop than the regular Pressed Powder Eyeshadow that are 0.042 oz for $5 each and the Supershock Shadows which are 0.07 oz each for $5. This palette holds a total of 0.21 oz of shadow each of which is 0.035 oz each. The physical size of the palette is also smaller, being a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes (I placed it by one of the Maybelline City Palettes so you can get a feel for the size).
One of the things that is different about this palette is the fact they included a mirror. I never use the mirrors in my eyeshadow cases but I still like seeing them in my palettes. It just makes things prettier. Typically Colourpop doesn’t include mirrors on some of their larger palettes so it was a little different to see one in a smaller palette release. None the less, the addition of a mirror might make the palette a little more travel-friendly for you.
