Christophe Robin?s Rose Water Line Ended My Fear Of Trying New Hair Products
I am often hesitant to try new shampoos, conditioners and even styling products. Following a scary experience with a keratin hair mask a few years back, I couldn?t bring myself to branch out. I dreaded more major breakage. Yikes. Once I finally built up my confidence, I started using Philip Kingsley?s line, which is specifically geared towards hair regrowth and stabilization. I love their shampoos and conditioners. There are no frills or fancy smells. They just get the job done.
A few weeks ago, I was getting a wedding hair trial over at Suite Caroline down in Soho, and decided to try their in-house shampoo and conditioner: Christophe Robin Delicate Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner, both made with ROSE EXTRACTS. Christophe Robin is that super famous French guy who created other mane specific best sellers, like the Prickly Pear Hair Balm, the Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt and even his newish line of vinegar products. In other words, he knows his stuff. The smell of rose is so gentle and soft it instantly transported me to an English rose garden. My shampoo guy told me all about how the products are formulated for fine, colored or sensitive hair and work to protect and nourish the hair, leaving it soft and smooth. Its antioxidant ingredients?rose oil and extract?combined with a pH tighten the scales of the hair, which limit the loss of color. I have to say that I am now completely obsessed. Their Instant Volumizing Mist with Rose Water is now my post-shower go to....
