The Bath and Body Works Halloween 2024 Collection dropped today and Members get early access to indulge in the latest spooky offerings (sign up for free to get access). And of course, there is a new Bath and Body Works Haunted House Luminary 3-Wick Candle Holder for Halloween 2024 and yes, the price went up from last year! And ya’ll said that Bath and Body Works lost their minds with the Halloween prices last year but let’s sit down and discuss the fact that the Luminary this year went up $25 making it almost $300 bucks to grab. Last year it was $250 which I thought was high but this year it’s $275.
Yeah, but no. I think I’ll be sitting this one out. Hear me out for a sec…! I actually like these Luminaries and I even have ones from years and years ago when they cost $59-$79 bucks. And sure, 20% coupons are floating around here and there which means the new Halloween 2024 Luminary will set you back $220 or so but even that’s expensive in my opinion. I can’t say I don’t have expensive hobbies. I’m a collector of a lot of comic books, collectable statues, older books, and a few other geek things I won’t bring into this conversation. So yeah, it’s a bit hypercritical for me to sit and judge Bath and Body Works for serving up a $275 Luminary because facts or facts there is an audience and fanbase for this stuff. Lord knows, I love Halloween! LOVE it. But I just can’t see myself dishing out $27...
