I’m watching Margaret de Heinrich de Omorovicza tell her story on YouTube. Refreshingly honest, beautiful and wise, with flawless skin and an elegance reminiscent of Grace Kelly, she mentions the “horrible” skin (her words) she had when she was younger.
The Omorovicza story begins with an expected and what turned out to be fortuitious offer of a diplomatic post in Budapest that changed the trajectory of Margaret’s life and brought her from the US to Hungary. Fortune favours the brave, they say, and not long after her arrival she crossed paths with the man she would soon marry, Stephen de Heinrich de Omorovicza.
When they first met, Stephen took Margaret to the historic Rácz Spa owned by his family, which was to become the inspiration for their new skincare brand. Captivated, and completely convinced by the healing qualities of the Rácz Spa?s rich mineral waters, she and Stephen collaborated with the head of a Nobel Prize winning dermatology laboratory in Hungary (the same laboratory that discovered Vitamin C) to create Omorovicza. Fast forward eleven years later and the rest, as they say, is history.
