For years I considered using Latisse to see what it could do to my short, straight, downward turned lashes. I always feel like I look more awake and my eyes look bigger with curled, long lashes, and I take a lot of steps to get that look when I do my makeup.
Latisse is a prescription product that you apply to your lash line to help your eyelashes grow longer, and perhaps grow more lashes.
I started using it a month ago and was diligent about the application. I never missed a day!
Then, I noticed my eyes were feeling dry and more prone to irritation, and I knew that had to be from Latisse–it was the only new thing that I was doing that could have caused it. So I took a break for a weekend, while we were at the beach with our friends, with plans to restart when I got back home. During that weekend, my eyes felt great with no dryness. As soon as I restarted, I felt the irritation come back, and that was when I knew I should probably quit Latisse.
I had such high hopes! I took an after picture just to compare the difference, and I believe my lashes look thicker! I didn’t see much addition to the length, but I definitely notice more lashes than I had before, even just after a month of use.

If it wasn’t for the irritation, I would have totally continued. So, I’m glad I tried it and I now know that it isn’t right for me.
