Why I Opted For Ultherapy At The Karidis Clinic ? Part 2
Following on from my post on why I decided to have the Ultherapy treatment and how it works (basically it’s the best non-invasive alternative to a face-lift) I’m now going to explain exactly what the treatment involves.
It all started with a consultation with Karolina, the aesthetic nurse at the Karidis Clinic, who performs the procedure. The consultation is an important part of the process and Karolina assessed my suitability and explained the different treatment options. It was decided that having my jowls treated along with the new Ultherapy O2 Eyes treatment would best address my concerns.
The Ultherapy o2 Eyes is a new 3 stage treatment that harnesses the power of the ultrasound technology and combines it with oxygen infusion and the Obagi Elastoderm topical treatment. It’s been developed to tackle the particular concerns of the eye area and will lift, tighten and tone. It doesn’t break down Botox but can actually enhance its effects which is good as I’ve had Botox on the upper part of my face (as well as a bit in my lower half too). I had heard that Ultherapy was really painful (more on this later) so discussing pain management was important to me.Like a lot of aspects of this treatment, the choice of painkillers is tailored to fit the patient and it was decided that an anti-inflammatory would be best for me.
