Greetings from Bald Head Island, y?all! It?s the most wonderful time of the year, when my family escapes for a week to this North Carolina gem. Though I call Minneapolis home, I?m a Southern girl at heart. The lazy beaches, sprawling porches, genuinely friendly people . . . we should all be so lucky to live this way! That there are no cars on the island and very little to do besides eat, sleep, read, and stroll on the beach is the pimiento cheese on top. With such easy living I can afford to pack light. I?ve got my uniform down: bikinis, beach hat, sunnies and breezy tunics and t-shirt dresses that go from day to night, and of course a few travel-friendly beauty essentials.
