Last week we brought you some of team BB’s holiday love list, including one heck of a stocking stuffer. This week I’ve got a few ideas up my sleeve that are no slouch in the splurge department but totally worth it. I have never been a designer label girl; for me it’s far more about quality, efficacy and aesthetic value than a brand name. But . . . I bought a Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM a few months ago and it is the best money I’ve ever spent. The fact that I get stopped on the street because it’s so beautiful means absolutely nothing compared to its practicality and classic good looks. Urban legend says that this massive tote can handle 200 pounds. I have yet to test that theory but it’s more than miraculous to me that it can hold my two macbooks, a change of clothes, makeup bag and countless miscellaneous whatnots are always rolling around underneath it all. I use it for work, weekends, the gym, bring it aboard the plane along with my carryon and have everything I need for days, even weeks. The classic pattern and color combination are timeless, seasonless and go with every outfit. When my boss, who has Anna Wintour tastes and could have any bag, told me it’s on HER Christmas wishlist I knew it wasn’t just me. So whether you treat yourself after saving for months like I did or ask a very generous Santa for this beauty, I promise you’ll be so glad you did.
