Two to Try from Laura Mercier
At the moment all I have been using in terms of a base product is a tinted moisturiser, can you believe it" Me, an acne prone, oily skinned, fickle gal who typically won't settle for anything less than full coverage, is wearing nothing more than a tinted moisturiser" No, I can't quite wrap my head around it and yet here we are. The tinted moisturiser of choice" Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser coupled with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer; I kid you not, thanks to this duo I feel like a new woman - well maybe not, but I am really enjoying wearing a lighter base product and I think my skin is appreciative of it too.

Let's begin with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer as it is the first step in my routine shall we" Unlike other foundation primers, this does not have a silicone enriched nor thick texture - rather it is soft, creamy-gel and very similar to a light moisturiser It gently hydrates the skin making it ideal for drier complexions; those like myself with an oily or even normal skin type needn't worry it is no way greasy, heavy nor over whelming, and as an added bonus it is oil free. Unlike the majority of primers I own I do not find that the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer optically blurs fine lines or enlarged pores - rather it acts a grip, a glue if you wish (or don't, the choice is yours) to keep any product applied on top intact.
