Like many, if not most, I have a beauty wish list that I slowly work my way through, treating myself here and there to products I really want but don't necessarily need. Topping this list for a few years has been MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle, the ultimate throwback highlighter that had previously escaped me up until now. There was a time in which no beauty influencer was without this glistening, champagne gold highlighter and after close to ten years, I'm ready to join the ranks...better late than never.

If you are a long term reader you will recall my MAC obsessive days in which I bought just about every collection they dropped for several years, so it may come as a somewhat surprise that I have not actually tried a few of their cult products including MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft & Gentle. My reasoning in this instance is that it is a, a fairly odd shade not quite peach, not quite gold and b, in the pan my gosh is it glittery, couple that with enlarged pores and it can be problematic.
