To me Summer Beauty should be about products that are fun, uplifting and practical in the warmer weather. The emphasis shouldn’t be on how to get the perfect beach-ready body. Of course, it’s nice to prime our skin a bit as we have more of it on show but it’s about looking and feeling our best – not about trying to pursue the perfect ideal that’s all smoke and mirrors (photoshop and filters) anyway.

Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Chinotto di Liguria
It’s hard for me to think of another range of fragrances that’s as wonderful as the Blu Mediterraneo collection from Acqua di Parma. Just for the pure pleasure I urge you to test them them out for yourself. Each one could be described as Summer in a bottle and the latest, Chinotto di Liquria is no exception. Chinotto is a small orange-like fruit and the scent from this is woven with Mandarin to give this  fragrance an overriding aromatic, citrus flavour.  There’s also Jasmine, Cardamom, Rosemary and Geranium at the heart and the bass notes of musk and patchouli anchors everything down. It’s uplifting, bittersweet, completely addictive and can just as easily be worn by men and women.
