No matter how many products I have the opportunity to try, I still want to know what my friends are using and loving?especially when those friends are contributors to this blog. This week, Team BB will be sharing its current beauty obsessions, from the concealer that does it all to the best dental floss ever (you’ll see). For this series, I enlisted illustrator Ashely Barlow to capture our must-haves with a bit of wit + whimsy. Because beauty should be fun! Her picks are first:

They’re great for travel goodies and double up as a pencil bag for when I’m off to illustrate. // Lush lip stain in Power ($20). Can’t tell you how many people (and strangers) stop to compliment this color on me or ask where I got it. It lasts forever, even through meals, sleeping, shower (maybe this is a problem" I love it). Goes on super bold if you use a lot or can be really subtle with just a dab. // BeautyCounter Rosewater Uplifting Spray ($35). Even though it’s touted as a pick-me-up for your skin, I actually really love to use this spray at night, right before bed. It makes my face feel fresh and clean for the pillow and the scent helps me to sleep a little better (similar to the effects a Lavender spray on your sheets would have).
