A new launch from Alpha H is always big news for skincare addicts and this one is especially exciting as it?s an eye cream in the Liquid Gold range – Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream, to be precise.
The signature of the Liquid Gold range is that it uses AHA?s to make real changes to the skin by boosting the skins own hyaluronic acid and collagen production. This, in turn, improves the appearance of wrinkles, pigmentation, pores and uneven tone. The  acid in the original Liquid Gold is glycolic but this would be too strong for the eye area so alternative has been found.
Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream contains Lime Pearl Extract which is a natural source of AHA?s extracted from Caviar Lime, an Australian rainforest plant. As well as increasing cell turnover it will help treat and prevent milia which are commonly found under the eye. This is a huge draw for me as I?m starting to get these annoying little white lumps and was looking for something to address them with. Also included is a combination of powerful peptides along with other favourites of mine (nicinamide, ferulic acid). These work on static lines (the ones that are still visible when you?re not moving your face), discolouration and firmness. There?s a cool-touch metallic applicator which really does feel very cold and refreshing on the skin. Also, discolouration all round the eye is lessened and brightened by the micron-sized particles of diamond powder that scatter all wavelengths of light.
