The trend for beauty products that you can customise to suit your personal tastes and needs is showing no signs of abating. One of the latest launches is the Palette London Custom Blend Nail Paint Kit which lets you create your own shade of nail polish shades.
In the box you get five base colours (black, white, red, yellow and blue), either 2 or 5 empty bottles, 5 pipettes and a colour mixing chart. The process is really very simple but lots of fun. You draw up the base colours with your pipette and deposit them in the empty bottles. You then have to shake vigorously to blend.

The colour mixing chart gives you the recipe for 10 different shades or you can make up your own. Of course, you can adjust the final results by adding white to make it lighter and black to make it darker. I did it with my daughter and she decided to make a mid blue and dark pink and we were both really pleased with the outcome.
My only complaint is that the smaller kit only has 2 empty bottles though you can buy more on the Palette London site.
