I sit here writing this blog post while the weekend is still fresh in my mind. It’s Sunday night, and I’m getting myself ready to start the week, but I sit here smiling as I reminisce about the amazing past few days. This year was yet another incredible venture to The Makeup Show NYC. Not only is it a great time to learn about new brands and educate yourself on the industry, but it’s the time of year where some of my closest friends are all in one place. Like every year, I started off The Makeup Show NYC at the Blogger Preview on Saturday night at the Metropolitan Pavilion. My husband drove me into the city since we were going to a friend’s party afterwards, and one of the highlights of the night was the fact that we got street parking right in front of the venue. If you know New York City, this is a big deal, and while it had absolutely no effect on the evening itself, it’s certainly worth a mention because let’s face it, great parking in NYC is few and far between!
