The Five: Staple Skin Products
I’m starting a new section: the five! It’ll be five products that I’m obsessing over at the moment, sometimes they will be five products in a specific category (like the five for blushes), sometimes they will be completely random. It’ll always be written in first person, and, always, always, always be products that I actually use and love.
The first installment: The five: staple products in my beauty cabinet.
Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cream ($55) – I have acne-prone skin and this is literally the only face cream that me and my mom (who has super dry skin) can both use — without any irritation. It’s light-as-air and feels so soothing when applied. It also gives great moisture without a greasy or slick residue. This cream is truly special, as it can be used on all skin types without fear of breakouts or irritation. Bonus: the citrus sent is delish. Simple Revitalizing Eye Roll-On ($9) – So it looks like Simple no longer makes this product, but you can still buy it on Amazon (so stock up!)… I’m super into gel eye creams after a facialist recently told me that the gel formulas would be better for me than creams (sometimes, with creams, I would get tiny bumps around my eyes – like milieu – because the cream is too thick). This roll-on version is affordable and immediately makes me look more awake. Plus, I love the ease of application. Roll and go!
