The current highlighter trend is going nowhere and I couldn't be more on board if I tried - I mean anything that will detract from my less-than-perfect eyebrows is always going to be a winner in my book. Oddly along with NIOD Photography Fluid (seriously this stuff is amazing, read my review here) the current must-have highlighter won't break the bank, and as it is a palette it is diverse in use and tone. Yes I am indeed talking about Sleek MakeUp Solstice Highlighting Palette.

Along with containing four highlighting options, the Sleek MakeUp Solstice Highlighting Palette is pretty easy on the eyes: a shiny, rose gold tinged compact that features a well sized mirror and if I am entirely honest, a sub-par scratchy brush. Brush woes aside, the palette is well sized - dinky enough for popping into a handbag yet large enough that the size of the powder wells are not compromised. If that is not enough, the plastic style of the compact ensures that the contents are well protected - perfect if like myself you are more than a little clumsy.
As you can see the Sleek MakeUp Solstice Highlighting Palette contains four, fairly cool toned highlighting products - three of which are powder based and one cream. Typically I am not a fan of mixed formulation palettes of any kind; more often than not, fall out from the powders becomes embedded within the cream textures and it all becomes more than a little messy.
