Superdrug Sheet Masks Review
As many will know I am very much enamoured with the sheet mask trend (I do think slowly they will outgrow the phase stage and become a skincare staple), an almost novelty concept that hasn't fully gripped the UK just yet. As such home grown brands and offerings are fairly few and far between, particularly within the budget market. After a little search (a quick trawl of Google if I'm entirely honest) I discovered that Superdrug have not one but four in-house sheet mask offerings. I of course purchased all four to see if they could love up to my beloved Korean counterparts.
In case you are new to sheet masks let me quickly explain. I'm guessing you will not be surprised to learn that a sheet mask is just that - a fabric, cut out, sheet that features nose, eyes and mouth openings that you place onto the face. From experience, most face masks of this type have a similar structure to a face wipe rather than a cotton wash cloth texture; don't let that admission put you off, on the skin they feel nothing short of wonderful: cooling, calming, relaxing and refreshing. Each mask is doused in serum to moisturise and generally care for the skin - think of sheet masks as an opportunity to deeply hydrate your skin without overwhelming. They can be used at any given time, due to the convenience and are ideal for frequent flyers or just a little down time in the evening.
