If you think exfoliating is a once-a-week pain, here’s something to play with. Starskin have put the fun back into exfoliators with Glowstar, one of the stellar winners of our Awards last month.
Glowstar is one of a much bigger family of Korean beauty-style masks for eyes and face and out of the Starskin products I’ve tried, it’s my favourite.
Inside the Tuscan sun yellow envelope is a tempting pouch…peel it open and you’ll find a soft puff with a gently “abrasive” side (like those old fashioned powder puffs with a silk “grip” that goes across the back of your hand).  Add a few droplets of water and cue the foam, then gently rub the foamy white puff around your face as it gets to work. Wash off with warm water and it’s just what you were hoping for…hello fresh, new skin! I’d have liked this even if it hadn’t been as effective, but it’s not just fun to use in a really girly way, it worked beautifully – I noticed it had evened out my complexion unexpectedly (I went back and read the “what it does” blurb and it is designed to even out tone so it did what it said on the pouch).
Anyway one of the other best bits is, you can keep it in the foil pouch and re-use it up to three times.
