If a product can leak, it will chose to do so in my bag - it seems to be some weird unwritten law, that or I am just entirely feckless. That's why I personally gravitate towards the beautiful cotton pouches from Elizabeth Scarlett (you can find my exact one here) - it' big, beautiful and worst case scenario it can be machine washed.
My everyday make-up bag serves two purposes:it contains all I need to tame my hair and oily skin throughout the day, yet provides all the essentials should I have to travel to a meeting in London at the last minute. As such everything is used at least once a day (even if that is just at home) and I like to think I have parred it back to the absolute essentials but I'll let you be the judge of that.
