One of the great things about being a beauty blogger is that you get to find out about beauty products that you wouldn’t have otherwise known about. A case in point is Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry which I’m very happy to have discovered. The downside to professional haircare ranges is that they can fly under the radar unless your hairdresser particularly recommends them. This is a shame because there’s so many great pro haircare products and they can now easily be bought online as well as in salons.
Pillow Proof  Blow Dry is much more than a heat protection product though it does this important job extremely well – it protects hair to 230ºC. It cuts down on the time it takes to blow dry hair. I’m not sure how it does this but it works and even a 5/10 minute saving is helpful in our busy lives. It also nourishes hair and has an anti-breakage formula making hair 3x stronger so it’s like adding an additional conditioner  to your routine. Something else it does, which I was sceptical about until I experienced it for myself, is that it holds your hair style for longer. This is obviously why it’s called Pillow Proof  and my hair really does maintain its shape over night when I use this. It’s for all hair types but is supposed to be particularly good on thick, coarse hair.
