Much like Karl Lagerfeld, supreme leader of the fashion realm, makeup monarch Pat McGrath has her eyes to the stars. On Tuesday, Pat McGrath Labs unveiled its newest launch: a smoky eye kit to end all smoky eye kits, dubbed Dark Star 006. In an Instagram post announcing the launch, McGrath promises the space-inspired products will create the ?future perfect? smoky eye and define ?intergalactic glamour.?
The Dark Star 006 line consists of three separate eye kits. Two ? the UltraSuede Brown set and the UltraViolet Blue set ? come with seven products apiece. These include either the UltraSuede Brown pigment or UltraViolet Blue pigment (both seriously shimmery), as well as Mercury pigment (a lustrous pewter), Astral White pigment (a shiny, pearlescent white), Dark Matter pigment (a matte black with a touch of glitter), Cyber Clear eye gloss (the perfect shiny, sparkle-flecked, barely-there eye balm), Black SmudgeLiner eye kohl (a matte black crayon) and a blender brush. The seven-piece kits will retail for $130. The final kit, known as Dark Matter, features all of the above, save for the glittery blue or brown pigments, and will cost only $95, because six pieces.
