I found that Next is a great one-stop shop for classic and well cut pieces, from bejewelled, yet simple, black dresses, to studded monochrome pumps. For a touch of lace you will find beautiful dresses both in Debenhams (the nude and black dress) and New Look (the plain and utterly affordable all black lace skater dress). New Look is also great for the finishing touches such as classic clutch bags in all shades.
