No Chemicals – The Synthetic Free Fragrance Range
No Chemicals is a new fragrance range and, of course, the name is a misnomer as everything is a chemical. That being said, the point of No Chemicals is that it doesn’t contain any synthetic ingredients. It’s been launched by Couverture and the Garbstore, the store in Notting Hill that sells fashion, beauty, accessories and homewares that’s run by Emily Dyson.
The products are beautifully presented in vintage inspired glass brown bottles that work brilliantly with the crisp, modern typeface on the labels. The outer packaging is based on ancient tiles and is a lovely touch.
The range is made up of the following:
A candle with 50 hours of burn time – £60
A candle with 100 hours of burn time – £100
Perfume Oil 150ml – £165 Perfume Oil Roll on 15ml – £45
Incense 35 Sticks – £40
The fragrance is the same across all products and can be worn by both sexes. It has a general aromatherpay-ness about it but within that it’s actually quite complex and smells slightly different every time. It veers from fresh/citrusy to eastern/exotic with lots in between and each stop on this fragrance journey is an enjoyable one.
I suppose it shouldn’t be surprise that you get such a multi-layered experience from No Chemicals as it’s packed with different notes:
