Nexxus Nutritive Haircare – Review
I really enjoyed reading the post on British Beauty Blogger last week about cheap verses expensive shampoos. I didn’t see the original feature that prompted the post but my view is that cheap shampoos aren’t nearly as good for hair as those that cost more. This debate bought back memories as my father used to have a company that developed and manufactured cheap shampoos (amongst other toiletries and beauty products) for big high street retailers. Rather than use the cheap shampoo he could have bought home by the bucket load we bought more expensive shampoo as he said it was better for the hair and scalp in the long run.
These days I regularly switch between mid-price and luxe haircare brands. For the past few weeks I’ve stuck to a range of Nexxus products so I could properly test it out. For those that don’t know, Nexxus was one of the first ‘Professional Haircare’ ranges available and you could only get it in salons. It’s recently been relaunched and is made up of four systems – Nutritive, Emergence, Oil Infinite and Youth Renewal.
To find out which system would best suit me I used the Nexxus Regimen Diagnosis tool which quickly took me through some questions about my hair type and the results I’d like to achieve.
