My Week In Photos – Michael Buble, A Thread Lift & Skinny Scarves
I had my first Christmas dinner of the year at the gorgeous Covent Garden Hotel. The evening was hosted by Thirty Plus Blogs and Michael Bublé fragrances so I knew I was guaranteed a lovely evening. As expected, the evening was lots of fun and even included Michael Bublé Christmas crackers. I’ve reviewed the fragrance, By Invitation HERE and, if you’re a fan of fine fragrances, it’s really worth checking out. The evening ended on a high note as we were given a sumptuous By Invitation gift set that included 100ml Eau De Parfum and a 150ml Body Lotion which are now available to buy HERE for £55 (though they look like they’re work at least £100).
___________________________________________________________________ The following evening I was at the Royal Society of Medicine to see First Lift LFL PDO Threads being performed by Dr Dan Dhuna. The event was held by Esthetique Distribution and Cosmedic Pharmacy who distribute the PDO threads.The treatment is basically a lifting procedure for the face that uses threads to pull up loose skin and has no downtime. As well as having the physical action of lifting, the threads also stimulate collagen production and you can actually have very thin threads inserted to do just that. There’s not really anywhere on the face where they can’t be placed. For instance, there’s a new treatment for rejuvenating the eye area using threads called Bleph Banding.Â
