My Updated In-Flight Skincare Routine
If you’ve been following along with me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’ve been traveling a lot more than usual lately. It’s only two months into the new year and I’ve hopped on several planes, some trips shorter than others, but nonetheless it’s put my skin through a lot. Thankfully, I’ve learned a lot about my skin along the way and have updated my in-flight skincare routine to make it even better.
Makeup Remover
I usually like to fly with clean, makeup-free skin, and I always have makeup-removing wipes on me just in case. If I’m heading straight to the airport after a meeting or event, this is a quick way to cleanse my skin pre-flight. Even if I’m not wearing makeup and feel like I need to refresh my face quickly, I’ll go ahead and swipe one of these on.
Face Mist
After using makeup wipes, sometimes our skin can feel a bit tight so I like using a face mist immediately afterward. I spray a few spritzes all over my face and allow my skin to dry on its own. This is great to have in your bag if you’re someone who likes to sleep on flights, as it’s a great way to refresh your face as soon as you wake up.
Serum
Since flights are extremely dehydrating, I make sure to pack a serum to get any essential nutrients deeper into my skin. When I’m traveling, I specifically look for ones with vitamin C due to its brightening properties. This will help with any dullness and dryness that my...
