Welcome to my brand new closet!

Earlier this year, I purchased my first home and this means I was finally able to customize every detail the way I wanted. I have been renting since I moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago, so I was always was stuck with whatever closet came with the apartment. Building something to my exact needs has always been a dream of mine (because hello, I have so many shoes!) So when it came time to start planning every detail, I partnered with The Container Store to build my new closet in my new home.

As you can see from the before and after photos above, the closet had so much space but the existing build out didn’t really maximize the area or give me the storage and layout that I needed.
I worked with The Container Store to customize my closet so that it perfectly fit all my things. I let them know I needed a lot of space for shoes, the most amount of hanging rods because I like to see all my clothes hung up and some drawers and storage for purses.

The process was SO EASY! I gave them the measurements of my closet, told them what I needed and then they presented a few rounds of design options so I could see exactly what I wanted and we ended up with the perfect closet! And, my closet actually looks so much bigger after they customized it.
