Well, it isn?t exactly a poll. It?s more of a constantly evolving (devolving"), somewhat random list of questions I?ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past NINE (!) years. (It?s like a kickstart for your brain.) I?ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.

1. What was the last really interesting conversation you had"
It was on Saturday with my friend Alis at Fox + Stone salon. While coloring my hair and cutting my bangs, she dropped some big news on me. She was finally moving to Vegas where her fiancé lives, which she?d been planning for and talking about for a long time, and she was literally doing it that weekend! Like, they had just packed up the U-Haul and were hitting the road the second she finished cutting my hair. We?ve known each other for years now, and we talked about how when you?re younger, it?s easier to make bold moves because you?re used to things changing in your life. It seems like from one year to the next, or from one month to the next, you have to get used to your daily patterns changing, and your life changing, but as you move into your 30s and 40s and beyond, it becomes harder to make those kinds of big changes, for a variety of reasons.
But she was finally doing it! I mean, of course I?m gonna miss her because she?s my friend, but she also gets my hair, and it?s hard to find people you can trust who also get your hair.
