Well, it isn’t exactly a poll. It’s more of a constantly evolving (devolving"), somewhat random list of questions I’ve been putting out to readers every Monday morning for the past seven years. (It’s like a kickstart for your brain.) I’ve always enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you enjoy reading mine.

Stripes, polka dots or florals"

I like ’em all, but right now I mostly like stripes. Stripes are classic. I really want a black and white striped shirt, but they have to be the right kind of stripes. I like them a certain width, and I prefer horizontal stripes. I really want a black and white… Well, what I really want is a shower, but a nice black and white horizontally striped top would also do. And polka dots for Connor Claire.

What’s your favorite cheesecake"

I’m a fan of the classic — regular ol’ plain cheesecake. I also like it when they come with fruit, because I’ve been going to town on fruit lately.
But then I also like the fancy cheesecakes you get at, like, The Cheesecake Factory, that you get with caramel or pumpkin. Lemon’s another favorite.
