MAKE IT LAST
TUTORIAL + PHOTOGRAPHY BY AMY NADINE, GRAPHIC DESIGN BY EUNICE CHUN
I have very light brows and love darkening them a few shades. But I hate it when it fades throughout the day. Hate. It! I got them tattooed last year (see my before and after here) and get the hairs tinted on the regular, but everything fades and I still have to shade them in each morning (oh well, there are bigger problems in the world). But I’ve learned that if I apply my eyeshadow primer before I fill them in, the shadow doesn’t move. Here’s how: TOOLS:
Your Favorite Eyeshadow Primer: I always use this one ($$) but also love this one ($).
Your Favorite Brow Shadow: I used this brow palette ($$) on Simone but also love this budget-friendly one ($).
An Angled Brow Brush: I used this stiff one ($$) but also love this one ($).
A Spoolie Brush ($) or Disposable Mascara Wand ($).
Make sure you press hard enough with the primer to hit the skin behind the hairs, since that’s where the shadow is going to go.
