MAC Push the Envelope...Again
As a brand MAC Cosmetics could be filled under fearless and not one single person could dispute such label. For decades now, they have tackled subjects that the mainstream media would deem taboo (thankfully on the whole we all seem to be far more accepting now), celebrated all ages, races and sexes long before any other brand stumbled aboard such ship. Currently Twitter is abuzz with excitement and in some instances disappointment, in the choice to launch a collaborative lipstick with Caitlyn Jenner - MAC Finally Free Lipstick which will launch on April the 7th 2016.
Do I agree with everything Caitlyn Jenner has to say" No, I do however respect her bravery to be who she's always wanted to be and in such a public arena too. That can't have been easy and is inspiring however you look at it. MAC Finally Free Lipstick couldn't be a more fitting tribute and if I am right, one of the first ever beauty campaigns to feature a transgender spokesperson - isn't that in itself a wonderful step forward and truly fitting of MAC's All Ages, All Races and All Sexes mantra"
MAC have always excited me and forever leave me asking and pondering "what next""; I have been hooked since a young teen and the launch of Barbie Loves MAC - a collaboration with a plastic doll shouldn't have been so alluring, yet we all queued in our droves to be the first to snag the now infamous MAC Malibu Barbie Lipglass.
