L'Oreal aren't known for their edgy and on-trend makeup collections, but over the last year they've certainly been evolving into something almost unrecogniseable from the brand we've known these past decades. Although they've been wrapped up in a lot of controversy of late, it's a positive change to see them try to embrace every kind of woman and every kind of makeup interest - understanding that not everyone wants a cherry red or peachy nude lip. (You can't underestimate the importance of this on the high street.) Lots of newness has been landing on my desk lately, but there are three new lip launches that have really peaked my interest and are definitely worth checking out this Autumn; if you're into your unique colours and different textures, these will be right up your street.
Lip Paint Metallic (£6.99) 
Not for the fainthearted, these metallic liquid lipsticks are packed full of colour and glitter to make you really stand out this party season. With three shades to choose from (red, purple-grey and golden peach,) these dry down to leave a kiss and drink-proof finish that can either be added over the top of your chosen lipstick or worn alone for a statement look. I definitely find these work better when a couple of coats are added to lips and left to dry between, but they're so easy to use there's no reason why you can't experiment and use them as eyeshadows, highlighters or to create a touch of face art too! They're probably a step too far for me and...
