There are at least two things I never let myself dream about: finding the love of my life and moving to NYC. They were too big, too much to hope for, and I was content with my full, single-girl life in Minneapolis. Then, through a series of miracles big and small, I got both. A husband who makes everything make sense, who makes me make sense, and a cozy brownstone in Brooklyn we get to call home as of last week. The wedding, the decision to head East, and the move all happened within a matter of weeks, I’ve hardly had time to process let alone get a thoughtful blog post up! Now that we’re here, I’m looking forward to catching my breath, making a home from all the boxes, and exploring all of the adorable boroughs. Everyone asked if I feel overwhelmed by this place and surprisingly, the opposite is true. I’m so at peace and full of anticipation because I know this is where we are supposed to be! Where the next chapter of life begins! In fact, I have entire journals scribbled with stories of synchronicity, of magic, of signs from the Universe leading me to my Ty, to leave my job and start a podcast, and to our new home in a city that has long whispered to me.
There’s too much to share in one post, and so much is yet to unfold. But it’s a story I looking forward to writing when the time is right. For now, I’m here, I’m happy a...
