Since our flight arrived at 1pm and by the time we passed the passport control and reached the hotel and checked in by 3pm, exhausted, we were not keen to start sight seeing as much we wanted to discover the hotel's surrounding area. We thought we would save the touristic action get started when we have enough energy to get going!

 Gefinor Rotana hotel was in the middle of Hamra, downtown area, it was nearly 10 minutes away from anything and everything we wanted to head to.

Christmas spirit was everywhere from lights to decorations on Christmas treas of all shapes and sorts- Natural and artificial ones as well. After we got into our rooms and changed, we headed to the Marina towers at Zeituna Bay. We walked around the port and headed towards Jemmayzeh area were we had our dinner at Leila restaurant. Although we have the same restaurant franchise in Egypt, yet this one is different-much tastier. We then met Lebanese friends of ours and went to Beirut Souq for shopping. For our luck there was a live DJ in the streets celebrating Xmas night :) I didn't the chance to take photos of that since the lighting was not that good, but I had a few videos uploaded on snapchat live if you managed to get a glimpse ;)
We crawled our way back to the hotel terribly exhausted and drained, preparing ourselves for a new day to come. Wait up for the next posts covering our adventure.
