I’m rather enamoured with this matte pink from Lancome – they have relaunched their classic L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks, bringing in new textures, reinvented shades and smart “click to open” packaging, and the aptly-named Rose Rose (here) is one of my favourites. It’s much brighter than one of those pinks that just looks patted on, but the matte finish keeps it relatively low-key. It’s not a sickly-sweet milkshake shade (though I am often drawn to those) but neither is it a statement fuchsia or magenta sort of affair. ...
