Skin tone: Fair to medium

Hello beauties,

As you all know I picked up 5 shades from the new Lakme absolute illuminating range and here I am with the darkest shade of the lot called ?Burgundy Beam?. I haven?t really been into such shades but thought of giving it a shot! Let?s see how this mature shade worked for me.

My Experience with Lakme Absolute Burgundy Beam Illuminating Lip Shimmer:
Packaging: I am so happy that Lakme finally added a new touch to their packaging. The lipstick comes in a basic black box with the description and shade name. And inside sits the lip colour. The packaging of the lipstick is deep charcoal grey with white fonts. It does look classy and elegant. It looks a lot similar to the Lakme?s skin gloss skincare range. The lipstick has a label at the bottom stating the colour, I wish there was some colour-coding too. The lipstick is super handy and the cap closes with a click, so no way of the bullet getting harmed.
