I’m having NARS déjà vu left and right! — first with Urban Decay Troublemaker mascara (which is just like NARS Audacious) and now with the new Kevyn Aucoin The Etherealist Super Natural Concealer.
It’s a new permanent collection line available in 10 shades for $30 each. One of the 10 shades is a peachy apricot color corrector for dark circles, and the other nine range from having peach to gold to beige undertones.

They look, feel and photograph exactly like the NARS Pure Radiant Concealers do to me. Same fluffy mousse-like texture, same smooth consistency, same satin finish, and same high density of pigment per drop.
They’re also just as easy-peasy to blend, but grrr… I can’t get Etherealist to actually stay put under my eyes. It’s already starting to break up after an hour of wear, and I can see thin fissures where the product seemingly disappears around my fine lines. Where the heck is it going…" Because I would like to send my worries and troubles to the same place, HA!
It’s a bummer, because I love the way it looks on my skin. I’ve tried tweaking it in different ways, like by playing with different setting powders and using different amounts of the product, but I haven’t been able to make it work.
